Dear Parents,

 

Welcome to Second Grade!  I am excited to be your child’s Second Grade Teacher.

Here is a bit of information about myself.  I attended UTSA , where I received my Bachelor’s Degree in  Interdisciplinary Studies with a specialization in Early Childhood.  I also have my Master’s Degree in Educational Technology Leadership.

 

This will be my 17th year teaching. My two daughters also attend Keystone and just like them, I love being part of this learning environment.

My husband and I also run our own business.  We own a coffee shop by the San Antonio Museum of Art called Rosella Coffee.  It has been a fun adventure.

My goal for this year is to create  a learning environment that teaches my students social skills that help them become great citizens, strong academic skills and strategies in all content areas and a love for learning so they become lifelong learners.

I look forward to working with your child and getting to know you and your child better!  This is going to be a  wonderful year!
